Things of Beauty #2. The Cinelli 1R stem. I think this was the pinnacle of beauty in quill-type stems. It would look totally out of place on a mountain bike. I understand the change to clamp-type, threadless stems, but it’s more fiscal than function. Liked lugged frames. Stay tuned for #3
